Hello all you happy people,

This new journal to describe my experience in a village where i went to see a Romanian Christmas tradition: Cutting/sacrificing the pig.
First of all, i was amazed that the people involved in the actual cutting took no notice of me, they acted very normal and they allowed me to photograph whatever and whenever i wanted, at one point i was over the main butcher holding the camera in front of him to catch his hands over the pig and the guy just went ahead and did his business.
Second of all, i want to tell everyone that this was in no way demeaning or cruel for the pig and do keep in mind that it's an ancestral tradition, i was just there to record it best way i can See below:

Hello all you happy people,

It feels like it's been a life time since i've updated my journal and looking at the date of the last journal it appears it is this is all because i was very busy with my university degree which i finally took, thank you very much and now i find myself doing nothing for the best part of the time, i think because it was very exhausting and i've yet to recover.
